:: Payment Options

There are several different payment options available to you.

VISA and MC. For those of you that do not have Paypal accounts and/or prefer to pay directly via credit card, you now can! On the checkout page, simply enter your credit card info directly. This option MUST be used if you are signing up for the monthly class planner subscription. Paying by this method will also ensure that you receive your download links immediately

PayPal Account. This is a safe and secure way of paying without having to expose your credit card or bank account information.  Through your PayPal account you have many payment options - bank transfer, e-check, Visa, MC, AMEX & Discover. 

If you use your credit card you will receive your download links immediately.

When you pay by bank transfer it will take at least 4-7 business days for you to receive your download links. Although Paypal deducts the money from your account immediately, it takes at least 4-7 business days to clear, when it is then deposited into my Paypal Account.

Money Order.  You can send a money order to the following address:  Andrea Walford, 43 Bird Crt., Cambridge, ON, N1T 1V6, Canada.  If you live outside of Canada, please ensure that it is an international money order in Canadian funds. Please ensure you include a note with the stamp class by email you are interested in and the email address to which to send the info. Once I receive the money order I will email you your links.

Electronic Bank Transfer. If you live in Canada and you bank online, most major banking institutions have an option where you can email money. When you send money via email you will be asked to set up a security question.  Once you have done so, simply email the stamp class by email fee to andrea@sunnystampin.com  and then email me to let me know the security question and answer. As soon as I receive your payment I will email you the class planner information.

Cost of Shipping & Shipping Refunds

Please note that the shopping cart calculates shipping automatically based on the weight of the parcel.  Shipping costs typically start between $10-12.  Best value for shipping occurs when you order multiple items from the store.

Please note that Shipping calculations are not always accurate as Canada Post bases its shipping charges on weight AND dimensions.  In some cases insufficient shipping is charged, and therefore may need to be adjusted. 

If your shipping rate needs to be adjusted you will be contacted by email - quoted the shipping price and offered the option to proceed or cancel your order. 

In cases where the shopping cart overcharges for shipping, we do refund the difference.  You will contacted if your are owed a refund.

Please note that in cases where we manually set prices for shipping (for the few products that can be shipped lettermail), the prices we set include the base shipping price (which is shown on the label), taxes, packaging and the additional shipping labor involved in sending parcels lettermail.  We DO NOT offer refunds for shipping sent via lettermail.

 

Shipping Times

Parcels will be shipped within 1-2 weeks of the date on which you place your order.  You will be sent an email with a tracking number (if applicable) when your parcel is shipped.

 

Shipping Options

Please note that not every shipping option is available to each country.

Lettermail / Light Packet

As a result of the requests we have received, we have decided to continue offering Lettermail/Light packet for Red Liner Tape only.

 

 This option can only be chosen when 1-4 rolls are being purchased.  In addition, there is NO insurance and NO tracking number.

 

We have been experiencing a number of problems with packages taking longer than average to arrive at their destination, and no way of finding out why, leading to customers demanding that replacements be sent out.  This has cost us a lot of time, money and stress.  As a result, we have instituted the following policy: If you choose this method of shipping you do so AT YOUR OWN RISK. We DO NOT refund or replace lost or delayed parcels. 

 

The shipping price is SET at: $2.50 per roll for Canada, $3.00 per roll for the US, $5.50 per roll International.  We do NOT offer shipping reimbursements/refunds for parcels sent this way as it incurs more time and manpower than expedited or UPS parcels.

 

If you want a guaranteed method of shipping then we recommend you choose the regular shipping method.  While more expensive it is insured and in the case of parcels being sent to Canada and the US, they are trackable as well, and typically arrive at their destination within 1 to 1 1/2 weeks. 

 

Canada Post Expedited Parcels (Canada and Hawaii)
This method of shipping offers insurance AND a tracking number.  Parcels typically take between 1-2 weeks to arrive at their destination, on rare occasions up to 3 weeks or even 4 weeks.  If at 4 weeks your parcel has not arrived we will either offer you a refund or send out a replacement.

Please note that at this point in time this is the only shipping method we are using for orders within Canada. We have had significant issues with parcels being sent via lettermail getting lost or delayed, and then being expected to replace them at our cost as lettermail is not insured or trackable.  If you are in the US we strongly recommend that you choose this option for shipping over small packet air.  Although more expensive it is both insured AND trackable.
 

UPS (for US customers)
All parcels to the continental US are shipped via UPS Standard.  This allows us to insure the parcel and ensure that it is trackable. On average, you can expect parcels sent via UPS to arrive within 7 - 10 business days.

Exceptions to this are address with P.O. boxes (UPS does not ship to P.O. Boxes) and Hawaii. 


Small Parcel Air
(International)
This method of shipping does include insurance however it does NOT have a tracking number.  Although we have been told that the average parcel takes between 1-2 weeks to arrive at it's destination - there are no guarantees.  In some cases, particularly in the holiday season, parcels have taken up to 3 weeks to arrive. In addition, as with snail mail in most countries, there is the risk that parcels can get lost. While a parcel sent this way is insured, Canada Post does not consider a parcel lost until 45 days have elapsed.  If after 45 days you have not received your parcel then we will gladly either offer you a refund or send out a replacement. 

Parcels above a certain weight cannot be sent by Small Parcel Air, they must be send by Surface. In such a case you will be emailed and notified.

 

Small Parcel Surface (International)

This option is not offered as a general rule as it is not trackable and we have been told that the average parcel sent this way takes between 2 -4 weeks to arrive at it's destination, but that there are no guarantees.  In some cases, particularly in the holiday season, parcels have taken up to 6 weeks to arrive.

In addition, as with snail mail in most countries, there is the risk that parcels can get lost. While a parcel sent this way is insured, Canada Post does not consider a parcel lost until 45 days have elapsed.  If after 75 days you have not received your parcel then we will gladly either offer you a refund or send out a replacement

The ONLY time we ship by small parcel surface is for international (outside of US and Canada shipments) that are too heavy to meet the small parcel air requirements.

 

Shipping Policies

Please be sure to carefully read through all the shipping methods.  When you choose a particular method of shipping you are agreeing to abide by the above stated terms. If at any time you wish to upgrade your method of shipping, you may do so provided the item has not already shipped.

Please note that we cannot guarantee shipping times when you choose Canada Post/USPS as your shipping option, in particular during the holiday season.  While Canada Post is generally fairly reliable there have been instances of parcels being lost or taking much longer than usual to arrive at their destination.

 

Refunds of Shipped Products

We strive to meet and exceed your customer service expectations.  If you are not fully satisfied with your product, we will gladly refund you your money according to the following conditions:

1.  If the product has not been shipped out then we will refund you your money 100% - no questions asked.

2. If the product has already shipped out, as long as you return it to us in sale-able condition we will provide you with a full refund.  Return shipping however, is your responsibility.
