Calendar & Note Pad Tin

Do you ever find yourself scrambling to find something to write on and write with?  I sure do...whether I'm home on the phone trying to take a message, or out and about trying to make a note to myself or wanting to check my calendar. If you're like me then you'll love my new Calendar & Note Pad tin...it's portable, durable, small and of course pretty.

* Please note that the calendars will NOT fit the skinny silver tins that Stampin' Up! used to carry (the note pads will however).  The calendars were designed specifically to fit inside a 5 1/4" x 5 1/4" hinged CD tin. Please scroll to the bottom of the page for supplier suggestions.

At the time the calendars were first designed Stampin' Up! had a very limited supply of the tins left and we were not able to find another source for them. We were however, able to readily find 5 1/4" x 5 1/4" hinged CD tins, so this is what used.  Please scroll to the bottom of the page for some suggested sources.

This kit includes:

 

  • All the supplies needed to make 1 Calender & Note Pad tin

  • you will be emailed a pdf tutorial giving you step-by-step directions on assembling the tin - which you can also use to create more from scratch (the same instructions provided as part of the Digital Kit)

  • a link to a private web page with a video showing you how the tin was made

 

You Provide:
 

  • Paper Cutter with Scoring Blade

  • Adhesives - Sticky Strip, SNAIL adhesive and mini glue dots

  • Corner Rounder punch

 

The tin was decorated using the Greenhouse Gala Designer Paper.  Because the DP comes in an assorted pack I had to use what was available. So the tin comes in several different patterns. There are no guarantees on which one you'll receive - however I can promise you they are equally beautiful.

 
Calendar & Note Pad Refills: $7.00 for a bundle of 5 + Shipping

I am making the note pads AND the calendars available in bundles of 5, to make it easy for Stampin' Up! Demonstrators or other craft instructors to offer this as a class to your own customers.  As explained above - the calendars, will NOT fit inside the SU skinny silver tins.

When you purchase EITHER the fully finished tin shown above OR 4 or more bundles of 5 lined note pads and/or 5 calendars, you will receive the instructions on making the tin absolutely FREE! The instructions include sources for purchasing the CD tins and the pencils (as I'm not selling either of those - but they are readily available in both Canada and the US).

5 1/4" x 5 1/4" hinged CD tins - I purchased mine from Pritchard Packaging .  They are a Canadian store but do sell to the US.  They have a minimum order requirement of $35 - so if you don't need that many tins then you may want to double up with someone and do a bulk buy.  While Pritchard's is the cheapest place I have found, if you do a google search you'll find other places online that sell them.

Small Mechanical Pencils - I purchased mine from both Dollarama and Raymond Geddes. You can find them online at most school supply stores.  They are the Lil' MP 0.7 mm Mechanical Pencils.  You could probably also substitute with mini gel pens.

The Kits by Mail and the Calendar and Note pad refills are currently on a pre-order.  They will begin shipping out the week of Sept. 20th.

For the Digital Kit, if you use your credit card you will typically receive your download links immediately. If more than 30 minutes elapses and you have not received your links and they are not in your email spam folder, then please email me.

When you pay by bank transfer or e-check through Paypal, it will take at least 4-7 business days for you to receive your download links. Although Paypal deducts the money from your account immediately, it takes at least 4-7 business days to clear, when it is then deposited into my Paypal Account.
